The primary goal was to redesign the winery's online presence to reflect its current branding and offer a complete e-commerce experience. We aimed to create an engaging visual narrative using still life photography with their product and provide an effortless shopping process that includes payment integration and streamlined fulfillment.
Challenges
One key challenge was conveying the beauty of the wine bottles in a more engaging way. While the previous site had simple bottle images, we needed to create a visual experience that would capture the elegance of the winery's brand. Additionally, implementing an e-commerce module with payment and fulfillment automation was essential, requiring both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the winery's operations.
Process
We started by understanding the winery's brand and their award-winning design aesthetic. Our design team developed a visual concept centered on still life compositions, using the wine bottles as the hero elements of the story. We worked with professional photographers to capture the essence of the winery and present the product in a captivating context.On the technical side, we integrated an e-commerce module that allows customers to easily select and purchase wines. The system automatically processes the order, printing a shipping label at the winery with details on the appropriate packaging and products. To ensure a smooth customer experience, we also implemented a form for reporting issues like broken bottles, enabling easy refunds or reshipments with just a few clicks.
Solutions
